The tears that flows are a river of love
A remembrance of the sacrifice for all humanity
From the arrows that rained onto the one in love
An eternal river flows, of true love’s purity
The tears that rained are a river of love
To drown the arrows of hate, and of ignorance
It’s the sacrifice given in selfless love
To drown out selfishness, and intolerance
The tears that flow from our very eyes
Are an affirmation of steadfastness
In the cause of love and true sacrifice
Of thankfulness to one filled with blessedness
There is victory in the seeming defeat
And joy comes on the back of heartfelt tears
Stand firm in the face of tyranny’s beat
The light of love flows in the river of tears
The tears that flow from our heart of hearts
Washes away the hurt and all the pain
Pain turns to joy, in the meeting of the hearts
As lovers enjoin in love’s ocean again
