SERIAN: Police have detained a 14-year-old dropout to assist in an investigation into allegations of sexual assault and sodomy involving a minor on Wednesday.
District police chief DSP Aswandy Anis said the teenager was arrested after the victim, a six-year-old boy, informed his mother of the alleged incident.
The boy told his mother he was sodomised by the teenager at the teenager’s house in Kampung Hilir at 10am.
“The case is investigated under Section 377A of the Penal Code for carnal intercourse against the order of nature,” he said in a statement, adding the suspect and victim were not related.
Sources indicated that the teenager forced himself into the boy’s anus, causing pain.
Because of the pain he
suffered, the boy told his mother who brought him to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for a medical check-up.
A police report was lodged afterwards.
Separately, a 17-year-old teenager wanted by the police for raping his 24-year-old disabled neighbour was arrested at 9.30pm on Wednesday.
The victim, a ‘slow learner’, was raped by the teenager at her house at Kampung Jenan.
The case came to light only after she gave birth to a baby boy on July 18.
