MIRI: A car driven by a 19-year-old boy rammed into a concrete wall and crashed into the gate of a house along Jalan Jati, Senadin here recently.
Miri police chief Alexson Naga Chabu said in a statement on Friday that a police report was received pertaining to an accident that happened on Jalan Jati, Senadin on June 19.
“The incident happened at Lorong Jati 1B, Jalan Jati, Senadin at around 10 am.
“No injuries or casualties were reported in the accident, however the front section of the Myvi vehicle inside the house was damaged,” he said.
Alexson said based on preliminary investigations, the teen driver who was the sole occupant of the Toyota Vios claimed that he tried to avoid the vehicle in front of him and then crashed and hit a concrete wall and an iron fence of a house
He said that the case is being investigated under Road Traffic Rules 1959.
