KUCHING: Police here arrested a young motorist for performing a dangerous ‘Superman’ stunt in Petra Jaya on Saturday (Jan 8).
Sarawak Traffic Police chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu said the operation, codenamed ‘Ops Samseng Jalanan’, was carried out from 5pm to 10pm together with Kuching Traffic Police Division.
The 19-year-old motorist arrested near the Baitul Makmur Complex, is being investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
Police also issued four traffic summonses to other motorists in the operation.
