KUCHING: A young boy with learning difficulties was detained after he was suspected stealing a bicycle and trespassing on a residential area at Jalan Bako here.

Kuching police chief ACP Ahsmon Bajah said they received a report on the incident around 9.20 am yesterday (July 17).

According to preliminary investigations, the trespasser was identified as a boy in his tween.

Police summoned the complainant and the parents of the boy to the police station for investigation.

Earlier, the boy was caught red-handed on the complainant’s closed circuit camera (CCTV).

The CCTV image showed the boy climbing over the wall of the house and searching the garage area.
