PADAWAN: A sports utility vehicle (SUV) parked in a housing estate at Batu Gong, Jalan Kuching-Serian, was allegedly driven away by a teenage girl today (Dec 31).
The incident gained widespread attention after a Facebook post featuring the complainant’s police report went viral.
In the report, the complainant suspects that his 15-year-old niece drove off with the Perodua Aruz.
He claimed that the vehicle was taken from his residence at about 4.50 am.
He said that his niece had not sought permission from either him or his wife to use or drive the vehicle.
In addition, he pointed out that the car was registered in his wife’s name and hoped that no untoward incident would occur due to his niece’s actions.
