KAPIT: Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Bumiputera Sarawak (TEGAS) will be holding an education and career exposition at the Indoor Sports Stadium here from Nov 3-4.
According to a statement from the Information Department here, Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Jemut Masing will officiate at the opening ceremony on Nov 4. He will be accompanied by Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports Datuk Snowdan Lawan.
Various career and motivational talks have been included in the two-day exposition. On the first day the educational talks are: “Ignite Your Future With STEM Education” to be presented by Noraziah Binti Abdul Wahab, the Deputy Dean of Faculty of Engineering, UNIMAS; “Financial Support In TEVT Education” by Muhammad Shahrul Hafizi, Sarawak Regional Manager of Perbadanan Tabung Pembangunan Kemahiran (PTPK); “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Awareness” by Awangku Merali Pengiran Mohammad, the Chief Operating Officer of TEGAS and Miss Sabtini Jihob, the Manager of Talent Development TEGAS; “Career Opportunities in TEVT” by Dickson Settie, Marketing Manager, Centre of Technical Excellence Sarawak (CENTXS).
Meanwhile, there will also be some other side activities including performance by local recording artistes and stage games.
