MUKAH: It was a fruitful engagement for about 30 participants, including local photojournalists who attended the two-day free basic photography course here over the weekend.

It was conducted by facilitators Muhaiyadin Mohd Morsidi and Abdul Rahman Mainol, both professional photographers.

Tellian assemblyman Royston Valentine urged the participants, who were mostly youths, to fully utilise the knowledge and skills they had acquired from the course.

He also urged them to share the knowledge and skills with others who could not attend.

“I hope the participants will also capitalise on what they have learned to venture into something meaningful and profitable,” he said at the close of the course on Sunday (Jan 23).

Royston hoped that they would network among themselves and with others to gain more knowledge and experience.

The course was jointly organised by Mukah Youth Transformation and Innovation Centre (MYTIC), Mukah Parliament Youth Organisation (PBPM) and Sarawak Digital Economy Corporataion (SDEC), in collaboration with Nonakraf Creative.
