KUCHING: Her Royal Highness Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor, Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, arrived at Kuching International Airport (KIA) today (Nov 26) to commence a three-day visit to the state.
Her Royal Highness, who arrived aboard a special flight at 11.50 am, was greeted upon arrival by the wife of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly Speaker, Puan Sri Datin Amar Fatimah Mohamad Iskandar.
Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin is scheduled to officiate at the Borneo Craft Expo and International Conference 2024 (BCG2024) at the Waterfront Hotel on Wednesday (Nov 27).
Later in the afternoon, Her Royal Highness is set to visit the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre.
Tomorrow, the itinerary includes a visit to the Sarapride Songket Industrial Vocational Centre (PVI), located at Puncak Borneo Prison, followed by a programme at Kek Lapis Warisan Sdn Bhd.
In the afternoon, she will make a private visit to the International Borneo Craft Expo before attending the BCG2024 Gala Dinner in the evening.
Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin is expected to depart Kuching on Friday at 12.40 pm.
