By MAYA GREEN
You kiss the Earth, a very wet kiss
In that way, you replenish the Earth
Making her ready, for the plants to grow
In a manner timely, will all kinds of fruits
You make the rains fall, on mountains
And create the streams, and rivers below
To carry the water, to everyone in need
And on a hot day, you send soft showers
You quicken the spirit, and cheers the heart
All year round, all kinds of fruit appear
And the valleys sing, with so much delight
Proclaiming your bounty, and providence
The crops in the fields, flocks in pastures
And the cattle in the plains, they all rejoice
In sincere thankfulness, for your goodness
Even the little hills, and the mountains, do sing
