KUCHING: Malaysia’s leading modern home decorator, The Makeover Guys, will make an appearance during this year’s Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developer Association (SHEDA) Property Expo.
Organising chairman Steve Tan Chen Hang said this as visitors who are looking to design their first home, family home, investment property, The Makeover Guys are ready to offer customised design to meet needs at any state the visitors’ property ladder journey.
He also said that in keeping with the green agenda of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, water dispensers will be provided for the visitors and exhibitors throughout the main hall of Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK).
“With properties from Kuching to Australia, and exhibitors offering products and services from financial planning to interior decoration, we have lined up something for everyone.
“For the second year running, Employees Provident Fund (EPF) will be available to visitors during expo to provide immediate answers on account withdrawals, the newly-implemented Account 3 and other EPF benefits such as i-Saraan,” he said.
He said this in press conference during the Sheda Property Expo 2024 Exhibitors’ Briefing at BCCK here on Thursday (Aug 15).
“Visitors will also be able to register and print their Central Credit Reference Information System (CCRIS) Report on site at BCCK.
“The service will especially benefit those looking to buy their first home as the CCRIS report will help them to identify the most suitable property within their credit rating, have the confidence to reserve their preferred unit and begin the loan application process,” he added.
Tan added that those curious to know what it feels like to get behind the wheel of an Electric Vehicle (EV) can satisfy their curiosity with a test drive during the expo programme.
“Visitors who register at the Expo stand a chance to win a grand prize of RM888 (Register and Win) and those who spend a minimum of RM1,000 at the Expo can expect a guaranteed gift, including the Miplus Company products (Buy and Win).
“In addition o attractive projects and exciting exhibitors, we have also scheduled a full programme of talks for public interest awareness, which consists of choosing a property to secure your (property owner) future, identifying genuine real estate agents and mechanisms of E-invoicing,” he added.
He reminded the exhibitors that the three prizes up for grabs for the best-constructed and presented booths, to which the categories are overall best booth, most creative booth and outstanding corporate image.
The SHEDA Property Expo 2024 will be held on Sept 6 to 8 at BCCK from 10am to 9pm, and a total of 60 exhibitors have confirmed their participation at the moment, and more are expected.
