KUCHING: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah visited the Bazar Ramadan Dewan Satok yesterday.
During the brief visit, His Majesty and Her Majesty managed to purchase some local Sarawak delicacies for breaking of fast.
Present to accompany His Majesty’s entourage were Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, Speaker of State Legislative Assembly Tan Sri Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar, Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, DBKU Mayor Datuk Junaidi Reduan, Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki and other guests of honour.
Later, Their Majesties attended the breaking of fast at Masjid Jamek Negeri here.
During the ceremony, 30 recipients received donations from Their Majesties.
