KUCHING: Sarawak enjoyed a third consecutive Covid-19-case-free day on Monday (Nov 23), with the total cases remaining at 1,055.

However, Kuching is still a red zone while Miri and Lawas remain yellow.

Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) here reported five new recovery and discharged cases.

“This brings the total recovery cases to 982 or 93.08 per cent,” said Sarawak Disaster Management Committee.

The number of Covid-19 patients still receiving treatment at isolation wards in hospitals statewide is 54 — 48 at SGH and six at Miri Hospital.

There are nine reported person-under-investigation (PUI) cases, and one awaiting lab test results.

Sarawak still has six active clusters namely Jalan Abell, Baki, Greenhill, Wisma Saberkas, Seladah and Besi.

304 person-under-surveillance (PUS) had been registered at designated quarantine centres, bringing the total number in the state to 3,103, while 32,285 others had ended their required 14-day quarantine.
