KUCHING: A new Taska Qaseh Laila 3 will be established to meet a growing demand from working parents.

According to the founder of Taska Qaseh Laila 1 & 2, Salmah Ibrahim, the new centre, will provide much-needed childcare services to the young working parents returning to work after the pandemic.

“The pandemic has had a significant impact on working parents and their ability to access child care, especially those who do not have family members to take care of their children at home.

“As parents begin to return to work, it is crucial that we provide them with safe, affordable and high-quality childcare options which enables parents to continue working and contributing to the state’s development,” said Salmah on Saturday.

According to her, the state government had provided support for the project, the construction of which is expected to begin within two years.

The location of the centre will be in close proximity to workplaces, residential areas to allow for more accessibility to parents who are working and looking for a place to take care of their children while they are away.
