MIRI: This year’s Miri Country Music Fest (MCMF), happening on Nov 25 and 26, promises to be a star-studded affair.

For the first time, the MCMF will be held at Eastwood Valley Golf and Country Club here, and is expected to attract some 2,000 festival-goers.

The line-up of artistes includes rising country star Kamal Bukhary, Miri’s own country music pride Mountain Wind and Sessions Band, also known as sesSion:theband, and Singaporean singer-songwriter Ramon Cedillo.

Also performing are Cambodia Country Band (USA/UK/Cambodia/Canada), Country Road Band (Malaysia), Lyia Meta (Malaysia), Tantowi Yahya (Indonesia) and Johnny Loda Trio (Italy/UK/Thailand).

With delicious local food and beverages on offer, the Eastwood Valley Golf and Country Club also provides ample festival space for more fun and family-friendly activities for all.

In true MCMF tradition, best dressed cowboys and cowgirls will be rewarded with hotel stays and air travel to holiday destinations in Sarawak.
