MIRI: A man, in his early 20s, said he had been threatened with blackmail after he exposed himself online to a woman who convinced him to do so.
The man, who had lodged a police report, told police that he knew the woman a month ago through the WeChat chat site and did not realise his actions were being recorded when he exposed himself online to her.
He added that at 11pm on Sunday, he received an SMS message from the woman who asked him to pay RM500 if he did not want the video to be posted on the internet.
Worried about the threat, the victim lodged a report at the nearest police station.
