SERIAN: Two persons were injured while three others were unhurt in a three-vehicle crash at Mile 29, Jalan Kuching-Serian today (July 25).
The vehicles involved were a Ford Ranger and two Proton Sagas.
A spokesman said firemen from Serian were dispatched to the scene following a distress call at 7.40am.
“The team extricated a female passenger from the Ford Ranger and handed her over to paramedics as her head was injured.
“Both the female passenger, and the male driver of one of the Proton Sagas, who injured his left leg, were taken to hospital,” the spokesman said.
The remaining victims – a male driver and a female passenger in the other Proton Saga as well as the man who drover the Ford Ranger, were not injured.
Once the victims had been attended to, the team cleared the glass fragments and oil spill on the road before ending the operation at 8.40am.
