MIRI: A fire broke out yesterday (Mar 22) in Pujut 9, destroying three homes and leaving eight individuals homeless.
Fortunately, all residents managed to run for safety when the fire broke out, escaping unharmed.
Apart from the houses, the fire also destroyed an adjacent oil storage room.
A team of firefighters from Lutong and Lopeng fire stations were swiftly dispatched to the scene of the fire to contain and extinguish the flames, upon responding to an alert call at 6.25pm.
Their quick response managed to contain the blaze and prevent further damage to neighbouring properties.
The operation ended at 8.07pm.
