The three Indonesian illegal migrant workers (2nd,3rd and 4th right) and members of the 11th Battalion RAMD posing for a photo after the trio were apprehended.

LUNDU: The 11th Battalion Royal Malay Regiment (RAMD) here conducted a patrol in a rubber plantation at Kpg Biawak here about 600 metres from the Malaysia-Indonesia border at 10am, yesterday.

During the patrol, the team managed to apprehend three Indonesian illegal migrant workers. The three were detained for using an ‘illegal route’.

The trio were believed to be heading home to Probolinggo, West Kalimantan, Indonesia after working at a chicken farm in Batu Kawah, Kuching.

They are being detained by Lundu Police and will be handed over to the Immigration Department for further action.
