KAPIT: 1Malaysia Community (K1M) and Village Security and Development Committee (JKKK) Taman Indah held a three-in-one gathering on Saturday.
Bukit Goram assemblyman Jefferson Jamit Unyat representing Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi was the guest-of-honour.
The gathering was for a ‘ngiling bidai’ ceremony, a meet-the-people Session and a Negaraku K1M programme.
At the function Jamit announced a government grant of RM10,000 for Taman Indah JKKK.
He also pledged to assist Kapit Information Department Kapit to buy a set of portable PA system.
Also present at the function were Kapit Resident Joseph Belayong Punan, organising chairman Tang Bukok who is also JKKK Taman Indah chairman and a special aide to Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development Ambrose Abong Bugek.
