KUCHING: Three individuals managed to escape with just minor injuries following a two-vehicle collision along Jalan Batu Kawa here, today (Jan 24).
A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said the accident involving a Toyota Camry and a Perodua Kancil happened in front of a motorcycle store around 4.10am.
Firemen from Batu Lintang station were promptly despatched to the scene after receiving an emergency call.
On arrival, they confirmed that the accident involved five individuals — the drivers of the vehicles and the passengers in the Toyota car.
It was reported that three of them — the Kancil driver and two Camry passengers — sustained minor injuries.
The driver was taken to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for further treatment while the other two victims were taken to KPJ Hospital by passers-by.
