SARATOK: Three victims, including a senior citizen and a child, sustained minor injuries in a head-on collision near the Integrated Agricultural Development Area (IADA) office here this morning.
Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), in a statement said, they received an emergency call at 7.36 am.
“Upon arrival, it was confirmed that an accident involving two vehicles, a Toyota Hilux and a Perodua Kancil, had occurred.
“The firefighters extricated three victims, aged 70, 33, and 7, who were trapped in the Perodua Kancil before handing them over to Saratok Hospital for further treatment,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Toyota Hilux was unharmed.
After ensuring the situation was safe, the operation concluded at 8.42 am.
