KUCHING: The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) has announced that three longhouses have been placed under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) today (June 4).
It stated that the EMCO was enforced on Rumah Robert Sungai Merudu in Sarikei; Rumah Jack, Lichock, Seblak, Roban in Betong; and Rumah Ulin, Teberu in Spaoh.
“The EMCO in Rumah Robert Sungai Merudu was enforced today until June 20 while Rumah Jack, Lichock, Seblak, Roban will be enforced from June 5 (tomorrow) until June 18 and Rumahh Ulin, Teberu will be enforced from June 5 (tomorrow) until June 19.
“On the same note, a longhouse in Kanowit will extend its EMCO until June 12 namely Rumah Jali, Sungai Maong, Machan,” it added.
It also declared that as of today, the EMCO at Kampung Tg Kelaso in Sadong Jaya was lifted while Rumah Siba, Batu 28, Skim Sekuau in Selangau will end its EMCO tomorrow (June 5).
