MUKAH: Three major projects valued at RM140 million have been approved for the Tellian state constituency,
“Among the main projects are the Mukah Waterfront involving an allocation of RM60 million and the Tellian and Penakub River Erosion Forts totaling RM40 million,” said assemblyman Royston Valentine.
He said an ‘Integrated Market Mukah’ Project worth RM40 million has also been approved.
He said this to the media after chairing Project Implementation Management meeting on projects approved by the Sarawak government for Tellian together with technical and implementing agencies at the Mukah District Office, here, today.
He added that in addition to the three main projects, the Tourism Development Project in the Tapak Kaul Mukah to Kuala Petanak area totaling RM38 million with a 3.2-kilometer stretch will also have a profound impact on the population.
In this regard, Royston mentioned that engagement sessions with agencies are crucial to ensure no issues are overlooked in the planning and implementation process of these projects.
