KUCHING: Kuching South City Council (MBKS) has issued a notice informing members of the public of a road closure, effective from last October 23 until January 8 next year.
MBKS, in a statement, said that the three-month temporary closure will affect the stretch of road from Lot 10459 (No 28-A) to the Bengang junction along Lorong Hup Kee 10 here.
The statement added that this closure is necessary to facilitate maintenance and replacement work on the sewer system in the area.
As such, residents and commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly and make the necessary adjustments to their daily travel schedules during this period.
The city council regrets any inconvenience caused and appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation during these essential infrastructure improvements.
