The State Disaster Management Committee said in a statement that two cases were recorded at Sarawak General Hospital here, and one at Bintulu Hospital.

All three patients are Malaysians, and “with the new cases, the total number of PUIs have risen to 115 since Jan 10,” it said.

“On the other hand, 111 were negative after testing while four are currently awaiting lab results,” it added.

For the record, the PUI cases comprised 91 Malaysians, 21 Chinese nationals, one Thai, one Indonesian and a Canadian.

On Monday, the Health Department screened a total of 12,699 arrivals into Sarawak.

This brings the number to 207,603 arrivals screened at airports and all other entry points since Jan 1 this year.
