KUCHING: Sarawak recorded three new deaths related to Covid-19 infection today (July 31), raising the death toll to 462.
The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said the 460th death was a woman aged 83 from Kuching District.
It said the woman passed away at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) and she had been confirmed as Covid-19 positive on July 23.
“The case had no comorbidities,” it said in a statement today.
On the 461st death, the committee said it was an 80-year-old woman from Sibu District, who passed away at Sibu Hospital.
“The case was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on July 14. She had comorbidities of high blood pressure, dyslipidaemia, and heart disease,” it said.
It said the 462nd death was a 43-year-old woman also from Sibu District, who passed away at Sibu Hospital.
SDMC said the case tested positive for Covid-19 on July 14, adding that she had comorbidities of high blood pressure, diabetes, and dyslipidaemia.
