MIRI: A 30-foot tall tree fell and landed onto three vehicles parked near a car dealer premises at Boulevard Commercial Centre during a strong wind on Monday.
Fortunately no injuries were reported in the incident.
According to Bomba Miri spokesperson Mohd Hazmin Awang Zainal, they received a distressed call on the incident at about 4. 13 pm.
A team of firemen from Miri Sentral were despatched to the scene immediately.
“When we arrived at the scene, the uprooted tree had landed on three cars namely a Perodua MyVi, Perodua Aruz and Honda HR-V that were parked in front of the premises and clearance works were done immediately,” he said.
The operation ended at 4.51 pm.
