KUCHING: The state Health Department today announced the end of three clusters after zero cases were recorded in the past 28 days.
The three clusters were the Nanga Lijan cluster in Julau, Univista cluster in Samarahan and Kidurong Dua cluster in Bintulu.
To date, there are still 31 active clusters in the state. Nine clusters recorded additional cases while the remaining cases had no new cases.
The current active clusters in the state are Pasai cluster, Geronggang cluster, Kiba cluster, Jalan Awang cluster, Jalan Sanyan cluster, and Jalan Kampung Hilir cluster in Sibu; Rakut cluster, Sena cluster, and Jalan Merpati cluster in Miri; Seruas cluster in Beluru; Kampung Sungai Maong cluster, Jalan Green cluster, and Emperoh Jambu cluster in Kuching; Gelong cluster, and Jan Yong cluster in Kapit; Kejutau cluster, and Jalan Main Bazaar cluster in Sri Aman.
The other active clusters are Sungai Bakong cluster, Buluh Pasi cluster, Sungai Atap cluster, and Tanjung Genting cluster in Meradong; Jalan Muhibbah cluster in Betong; Jalan Ho Pin cluster in Samarahan; Buloh cluster in Selangau; Bukit Tunggal cluster in Julau; Melor cluster in Pusa.
There are two active clusters in Song district, namely Begalak cluster, and Nangga Bulo cluster; Jalan Tanjung cluster in Bintulu; Depot Imigresen Sejuma cluster in Serian; and Rajang cluster in Tanjung Manis.
Today, Asajaya district turned green after recording no positive cases in the last two weeks. With this, there are now 11 green districts in the state.
Meanwhile, the Subis district turned orange after recording 29 local transmission cases in the past 14 days. With that, there are now two orange districts in the state.
Meanwhile, there are currently 12 red districts and 15 yellow districts in the state.
