KUCHING: Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident that occurred in Kampung Gerung, Puncak Borneo around 10 am today (August 4)
In a statement, the incident prompted teams from Siburan Fire and Rescue Department and the ambulance to rush to the scene which involved a Proton Saga, Perodua Viva, and Perodua Alza.
Upon arrival, the firefighters assessed the situation and found that two individuals required medical attention.
The driver of the Proton Saga had already received help from the public and was later treated by the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) team.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Perodua Viva suffered injuries with fractured left and right legs.
The Proton Alza driver, fortunately, was unharmed.
After the necessary medical assistance was provided, the victims were transported to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for further treatment.
