The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a weather warning for thunderstorms and heavy rainfall in Kuching, Serian, and Samarahan this afternoon (July 18).
Residents in these areas are advised to take precautions and stay safe during the expected adverse weather conditions.
However, no rainfall is predicted for Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit, Bintulu, Miri, and Limbang at this time.
Additionally, there may be scattered rain showers in certain parts of Kapit and Miri during the evening.
