BINTULU: Tiffany Cassandra Hellis Ahchong was crowned Ethnic Queen during the Tatau Festival 2024 after outshining seven other contestants in the final competition held at Sungai Jatan Community Park, Tatau, on Thursday night.
The 22-year-old took home RM3,500 in cash, along with a tiara, bouquet of flowers, sash, trophy, and a certificate of participation.
Previously, Tiffany who is of Iban, Chinese, and Filipino mixed parentage, held the title of Sarawak National Queen 2023 and now works as a beauty consultant.
The second place was won by Nur Zureyha Zurhaidi, while the third place went to Angline Johnatan, each receiving RM2,500 and RM2,000 in cash respectively, along with a tiara, bouquet, sash, trophy, and certificate of participation.
Angline also won the Best Performance Award, receiving RM250 in cash, while Janet Sre James won the Miss Congeniality Award, also taking home RM250 in cash.
The competition not only highlighted the participants’ ability to showcase their culture and ethnic beauty but also recognised individual talents and achievements in this field.
