KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has a jam-packed schedule today as he will be attending at least eight Hari Raya open houses.
This is Abang Johari’s first Hari Raya visit after hosting his open house at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) on the first and second day of Hari Raya.
This morning, he visited Sarawak State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar and Puan Sri Datin Amar Fatimah Mohamad Iskandar’s residence at Tinggian Demak in Petra Jaya.
Abang Johari was accompanied by his wife Datin Patinggi Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tuanku Bujang.
Among those present were Deputy Premier Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian; Federal Deputy Natural Resources, Environment, and Climate Change Minister Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii; Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts Sarawak Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah; Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Department Datuk John Sikie Tayai; Deputy Ministers of Public Health, Housing and Local Government Michael Tiang and Datuk Dr Penguang Manggil; Deputy Speaker Datuk Idris Buang; Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki; and Opar assembylman Billy Sujang.
Later, Abang Johari visited the Hari Raya open house hosted by the Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Law, State-Federal Relations and Project Monitoring Datuk Sharifah Hasidah at Wisma Sabati, Jalan Bako in Petra Jaya.
Next, he is scheduled to visit Deputy Minister of Utility and Telecommunication Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi’s residence at Taman Gaya, Jalan Sultan Tengah.
In the afternoon, he will proceed to Minister of Utility and Telecommunication Datuk Julaihi Narawi’s residence at Taman Heritage, Jalan Tun Abdul Rahman Yaakub followed by Shell Malaysia’s Hari Raya open house at Hilton Hotel.
The Premier will also be visiting former deputy state secretary Datuk Seri Safri Awang Zaidell’s residence at Jalan Patingian.
Later in the evening, he will be heading to Sarawak State Attorney-General Datuk Seri Talat Mahmood Abdul Rashid’s residence at Vistra Ibrahim, Jalan Bako.
The last visit of the day for Abang Johari will be to the former Tanjong Datu assemblywoman Datuk Amar Jamilah Anu’s residence in Santubong.
