Suspected human remains have been discovered among the wreckage of the ill-fated Titan submersible, which sank following an implosion recently.
On Wednesday (June 28), the US Coast Guard announced that the vessel Horizon Arctic retrieved fragments of the Titanic submarine in hopes of shedding light on the cause of the deadly implosion that claimed all passengers’ lives.
Canadian and US authorities have initiated investigations into the incident.
The OceanGate Expeditions’ submersible submarine was found on the ocean floor by a diving robot, approximately 488 metres from the bow of the Titanic submarine.
This discovery concludes the five-day search for the lost submarine.
