KUCHING: A one-day TM SME BizFest 2017 was  held at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK), yesterday.

SME BizFest 2017 is to help SMEs through two major components  which is the conference featuring renowned business icons and coaches sharing their business tips and advice with the delegates, and the Experiential Hub, in which SMEs are offered a number of digital solutions and products to empower their business to next level.

The conference session is divided into two major clusters, namely Entrepreneurial Spirit, and Technology and Digital.

Among the speakers were (Entrepreneurial Spirit Cluster) Founder of Earthling Coffee Workshop Raven Kwok, Managing Director of Les Copaque Production Burhanuddin Md Radzi, (Techology and Digital Cluster) Technologist and Gadgeteer Loh Ben Jern, Malaysia SMB Business Development Lead (Facebook) Ai Ting Eeo, Territory Sales Lead (Google Malaysia) Sin Mei Lee, and Managing Director of iPay88 Sdn Bhd Chan Kok Long.

Besides the Conference and Experiential Hub area, SME BizFest 2017 also gathers relevant partners and supporters who will be sharing latest information on their respective field of expertise, and among them are National Human Resource Center (NHRC), Bank Islam, New Entrepreneurs Foundation (myNef), and Perbadanan Usahawan Nasional (PUNB).

The SME BizFest 2017 one-day event spreads across five locations namely Kuala Lumpur (15 March 2017), Sarawak (30 March 2017), Kelantan (4 April 2017), Johor (11 April 2017) and Sabah (11 May 2017)  in over three months, with the aim to help SMEs to grow their business through adaption of digital technology.
