KUCHING: Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) through TM Sarawak, further strengthens its presence as Malaysia’s Convergence Champion, bringing unlimited experiences, unmatched choices and unbeatable value to high speed broadband users in Sarawak with its service and special promo offerings.
In conjunction with the Malaysia Day celebration, TM Sarawak embarked on various initiatives to increase the take-up of its high speed broadband offerings by offering 1 month FREE subscription for every successful new unifi application specifically for Sarawak customers starting from 18 until 30 September 2017. TM Sarawak also gave away tokens of appreciation to its customers where the first customer who had subscribed to unifi in Sarawak back in 20 Sept 2012 received a Huawei P10 smartphone worth RM2,200 while the 50,000th unifi customer received an LED Smart TV worth RM3,000.. In addition, to celebrate Malaysia Day, TM also presented seven (7) unifi customers whose birthdate falls on 16 September with cash vouchers worth RM50 each.

Broadband Improvement Plan
Under the Broadband Improvement Plan, TM’s Home customers will be enjoying higher broadband speeds at a better value. With the plan in place, it will enhance the nation’s average broadband speed and bring the price per Mbps down for the benefit of the Rakyat. This is in line with TM’s position as Malaysia’s Convergence Champion, with the most comprehensive suite of fixed and mobility broadband value offerings. Under the initiative, the average broadband speeds for residential unifi customers will be doubled at the same price. Eligible customers in Sarawak will enjoy the free upgrades in stages under its “Thank You Surprise Campaign” which is expected to be completed by December 2017.
unifi Campaign for KL2017
At the same time, as the Platinum Sponsor for the recent SEA Games KL2017, TM’s Campaign for KL2017 is still ongoing until 30 September 2017. The campaign is open to all TM’s new and existing Consumer and SME customers. Specifically for customers in Sarawak, TM Sarawak is offering 1 month FREE subscription for every successful new Residential unifi application starting from 16 until 30 September 2017.
The free 1 month offering for new residential customers are for unifi Lite Plan as low as RM129/month with download speed of up to 10 Mbps and upload speed of up to 5 Mbps, Advance Plan 30Mbps for only RM199 with download speed of up to 30 Mbps and upload speed of up to 10Mbps and Pro Plan 100Mbps with download speed of up to 100 Mbps and upload speed of up to 50 Mbps with HyppTV service.
