KUCHING: At 8.07am yesterday, the State Operations Centre received a distress call concerning a child trapped inside a car at Lorong 1B, Taman Stakan Jaya, 7th Mile, Kuching-Serian Road. The Centre then immediately requested Kota Samarahan BOMBA to go to the address.
Fol lowing the cal l , Kot a Samarahan BOMBA immediately dispatched 11 personnel in two vehicles led by PBK II Ahmad Shah bin Saad.
Upon arrival at the address, the BOMBA personnel found an 18 months old toddler trapped inside an ‘auto lock’ Perodua Myvi car while the father went out of the car to lock the house gate.
The BOMBA personnel then immediately took out a special tool to prise open the locked car door to free the toddler.
