KUCHING: An upcoming financial talk themed ‘Finance under a New Malaysia’ will touch on economic issues and challenges faced by the country.
It will also discuss the various implementations that the Pakatan Harapan (PH) government is working on, especially in building long-term economic fundamentals.
The one-night event, which will be conducted in Mandarin and English, will be on August 26 (Monday) at 7.30pm and held at Chemsain Building, Rock Road. Admission is free and open for the public.
The talk will feature Tony Pua (pic), who is political secretary to Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng and Damansara MP.
Pua will address each challenge and how the PH government responded — and intend to respond — to those issues.
The talk will also look into some of the government policies, such as welfare assistance and development projects that would benefit the people as a whole.
