BINTULU: The installation of equipment and generators for the Sarawak Digital Economy Corporation (SEDC) telecommunications tower project in Sungai Segan here is nearing completion.
Utility and Telecommunication Minister Datuk Seri Julaihi Narawi stated that a generator and several essential pieces of equipment had been successfully installed, providing electricity to the site.
According to him, the next steps involve antenna installation, followed by programming before the tower can be fully operational.
Julaihi, who is also the Sebuyau assemblyman, shared this information during a visit to the project site on Thursday.
He assured that continuous monitoring would be carried out to ensure the project’s progress.
Accompanying Julaihi was his deputy minister Datuk Dr. Abdul Rahman Junaidi.
