BINTULU: Head of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Tanjung Batu branch, Datuk Haidar Khan Asghar Khan, expressed gratitude for the tradition of unity and cooperation that continues to be maintained in the party.

According to him, since leading the branch for 32 years, every election for positions in the party has been held without competition.

This tradition, he said, is the result of the spirit of consensus, integrity and close relationships among members.

“This success cannot be separated from the value of unity that I try to foster in every organisation I am involved in. I believe that we must unite to achieve mutual success.

“I am proud that this tradition has become a culture in the Tanjung Batu area and hope that it will continue,” he said when addressing the PBB Tanjong Batu dinner at a hotel, here, yesterday.

Haidar also shared his hope to continue leading the branch but admitted that now is the time to make room for young talents in the party.

“God willing, in the upcoming delegates’ meeting, we will select young talents to continue this legacy. I am confident that we have formed a team that I am very proud of with strong cooperation,” he said.

He stressed that the success of PBB Tanjung Batu is the result of the dedication and loyalty of members who are committed to the party’s goals.

This spirit of unity, he said, is the foundation for the development of the area.

Haidar hopes that PBB Tanjung Batu will continue to be a role model in strengthening party unity and ensuring a brighter future for the younger generation.
