KUCHING: Road users are expected to experience more traffic congestion along the Kuching-Samarahan Expressway, from the Samajaya roundabout to the bridge at Sungai Kuap from Wednesday (October 3) onwards.
According to a statement issued by the Public Works Department (JKR) Kuching Divisional Office yesterday, this is due to more upgrading works that will be taking place there.
The upgrading works will commence from the Samajaya roundabout to the bridge at Sungai Kuap and vice versa. The statement further urged road users to be extra cautious during this period and to adhere to the road management signs. “Road users are encouraged to use available alternative routes until upgrading works are complete,” said the statement.
