KUCHING: Traffic-lights will be installed at Jalan Stakan’s junction with Jalan Liu Shan Bang at Kota Sentosa (Mile 7 Bazaar) here.

This was disclosed by MPP Chairman Lo Khere Chiang yesterday during a visit to the site for the proposed traffic light system.

The Public Works Department (JKR) has approved the putting up of the RM350,000 traffic lights there.

The tender for the project has been called and closed and is at the evaluation stage now.

The project which will start in September is expected to be completed by end of this year.

Upon completion, it will regulate the flow of traffic at the area.
Traffic lights costing RM350,000 will also be installed at the junction of Jalan Haji Baki.
