MIRI: A devastating collision involving a car and a motorcycle resulted in the death of a secondary school student yesterday morning.
The tragic accident occurred at Jalan Lambir when two students who rode a motorcycle were on their way to school.
According to sources, the two male students, the rider and pillion were riding a motorcycle heading towards SMK Riam when they collided with a car.
The collision led to the immediate death of one student, while the other one was urgently rushed to Miri Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the car involved in the accident was reported to be unharmed.
Police have been notified of the accident, and they are gathering information to determine the cause of the collision have been carried out.
As of now, the police have not released the details of the victims involved in the accident.
The body of the deceased has been transported to the Miri Hospital morgue.
