TATAU: A trailer truck caught fire at Jalan Tatau-Sibu early this morning.
The State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre said a distress call on the incident was received at 3.49am and a team of firemen from Tatau Fire and Rescue Station was despatched to the scene.
Upon the firefighters arrival, the truck’s back tyres were found in flames.
The fire was successfully put out at 4.28am and no casualties were reported.
It was told that the trailer was not carrying any cargo during the incident.
