KUALA LUMPUR: In order to pique greater interest in the travel industry as it reaches a fever pitch, Traveloka Malaysia is launching the second edition of the International Travel Fiesta (ITF) from Aug 11 to Sept 10, to capture more imaginations, following the event’s resounding success in March this year.
Customers can choose an array of both online and offline promotions worth over RM3,000, including attractive flights, hotels as well as attractions and theme park ticket coupons on Traveloka for international destinations such as Bangkok, Taipei, Seoul, Tokyo and London, among others.
“We are fast approaching one of the most highly anticipated holiday periods, a time when international travel is on top of many Malaysians’ wish lists.
“With travellers ready to explore the world once again, Traveloka is keen to help customers secure the best deals for an adventure of a lifetime from participating brands during the ITF,” said Traveloka chief executive officer (CEO) of Transport, Iko Putera in a statement.
Meanwhile, Malaysia Aviation Group CEO of Airlines, Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi said: “As Traveloka’s airline partner during the International Travel Fiesta 2023, we are offering consumers the opportunity to explore and discover great places, go on adventure trips and see more of the world with their families and loved ones.”
Beginning Aug 11, bargain hunters can visit Traveloka to discover unmatched travel deals, including a free Meridian River Cruise when booking a flight or hotel to Bangkok, or one-for-one tickets for SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium and Universal Studios Hollywood.
Similar to the ITF in March, consumers can stack their savings further through a social media contest and livestreams giveaways on Traveloka Malaysia’s official Facebook and Instagram accounts, with other exciting travel-related prizes to be won as well.
Aside from online promotions, a booth at 1 Utama Shopping Centre will be open from Aug 23 to 27, whereby visiting customers can score special fares and stand a chance to win a return flight ticket to Tokyo, supported by Malaysia Airlines.
