TripAdvisor has revealed a new ranking of the USA’s top restaurant chains for 2019, with Ruth’s Chris Steak House, The Capital Grille and Eddie V’s Prime Seafood topping the bill as the best-reviewed small, medium and large chains.
Forget burgers, America seems to have a taste for steakhouses, with chains serving meaty morsels appearing as a firm favourite in TripAdvisor’s latest rundown of the top restaurant chains in the USA, based on millions of reviews and opinions from TripAdvisor diners.
The 30 restaurants are split into three categories: the top 10 large chains with 101+ locations, the top 10 medium-sized chains with 51-100 locations, and the top 10 small chains with 10-50 locations. Ruth’s Chris Steak House takes the top spot in the large chains category. This well-known US chain has been around since the 1960s and is famous for serving prime cuts of beef on sizzling-hot plates
Another steakhouse, The Capital Grille, tops the bill of medium-sized chains (51-100 locations). In the small chains category, US diners go crazy for seafood, it seems, with Eddie V’s Prime Seafood topping the list.
