KUCHING: Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak (TBS) is introducing a new platform for inquiries and bookings of the Majma’ Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah Hall (Kompleks Islam Sarawak) via an online booking portal which was officially launched at Majma Mall, today.
The launch was officiated at by TBS general manager Datuk Abang Mohd Shibli Abang Mohd Nailie and TBS officials.
The portal will make it easier for the public to access facilities available without going through the marketing officer in the matter and with just a click anywhere, anytime the public can plan the reservation dates.
The main hall, which is usually booked for occasions like wedding or company’s event, would usually be inquired by members of the public through its marketing officer on its availability. Without a proper reservation system, it would cause complications. Through the portal, reservations and pre-payment could be made anytime with ease.
At present the portal is only available for Kuching. However, it would be made available throughout the state such as the Baitulmal Islamic Complex in Sibu and Miri very soon.
Abang Shibli revealed this in his speech during the launching of Baitulmal online booking portal at www.kompleksislamsarawak.com.
Meanwhile, the Majma Carrom Open 2019 supported by Persatuan Carrom Ooha was also launched.
The event which saw 109 participants is being held on March 16 and 17. It is divided into two categories namely single category (55 participants) and double category with 54 participants.
