MUKAH: Some 58 tuai rumah in Ulu Mukah here want Yussibnosh Balo to be renominated to defend Tellian constituency in the coming state election.
Led by penghulu Mawar Awang, who was also former Dalat and Mukah District Council (MDDM) deputy walikota, they showed their support for Yussibnosh at a Community Policing Programme Mukah district-level at Rumah Ajah Kandau, Tanjung Pedada near here on Saturday.
During a group photograph at the event, they also exhibited a banner which expressed their wish and support for Yussibnosh.
Former Balingian assemblyman Yussibnosh officiated at the closing of the half-day programme, which featured talks from Mukah Parliament Youth Organisation, National Anti-Drug Agency (ADDK), police, health department and a MDDM councillor.
Mukah Division Resident Hamdiah Bakir, acting Mukah district officer Peleadzman Ahip, penghulu Mawar and tuai rumah Ajah Kandau also attended the event.
Recently, Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth Tellian branch also expressed its support for Yussibnosh to defend the constituency in the coming state election.
The tenure of the current State Legislative Assembly (DUN) will expire on June 9, 2021.
