KUCHING: TVS Prihatin and the Kuching Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCGCCI) recently distributed angpow and daily goods to selected charitable organisations in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration.
Apart from the angpow and daily goods, the recipients namely Sarawak Society of the Blind, Sarawak Cheshire Home, Pertubuhan PDK Suria, The Salvation Army Boys Home and Sarawak Hun Nam Siang Tng also received packed food for their residents and staff.
In this regard, TVS welcomed any non-governmental organisation, corporate sector, startups, social enterprises and small medium enterprises to collaborate with TVS Prihatin in doing charity work for the benefit of the local community in future.
Also present during the event were the chamber’s president Datuk Tan Jit Kee, deputy president Datuk Wee Kok Hui, secretary-general Datuk Jonathan Chai Voon Tok, treasurer Ho Siew Hua, Digital Economy Committee chairman Rodger Chan Siuong Boh and TVS Marketing Communications general manager Amirin Arsyan.
