KUCHING: TV Sarawak (TVS) has proudly secured the role of official broadcaster for Para SUKMA XXI Sarawak 2024, which is set to take place from September 22 to September 28, 2024.
Building on the success of SUKMA XXI, where Sarawak emerged as the overall champion, the state will once again be in the spotlight as it hosts this prestigious event for disabled athletes.
“The Para SUKMA Games will feature 1,290 athletes competing across 10 sports, covering 328 events. The sports lineup includes Para Athletics, Para Powerlifting, Para Badminton, Para Swimming, Para Table Tennis, Para Lawn Bowls, Para Archery, Para Chess, Para Boccia, and Para Tenpin Bowling.
“These events provide an excellent platform for athletes with disabilities to showcase their exceptional talents and gain the recognition they deserve on a national scale,” said TVS in a press release today (Sep 19).
TVS said it had ensured that the entire event would be accessible to viewers nationwide through live streaming across all platforms.
Coverage will be available on TVS Channel 122 via MYTV, Unifi TV, and Astro, free of charge for all viewers across Malaysia. In addition, TVS will provide comprehensive access to the latest updates, interviews, and game highlights.
With over 300 personnel dedicated to the coverage and partnerships with local production houses, TVS is committed to delivering seamless broadcasts of the Para SUKMA XXI events.
